Jau Wing Hei (b. 1995, British Columbia, Canada) is a painter & illustrator working primarily in oils. Inspired by lived moments and intimate memories, her large-scale oil paintings grow from a common place within all of us. Her work gives sustained attention to softness, play and the joy of being with someone who loves you.
Jau Wing Hei studied in Canada and has worked as a professional artist internationally, her work has been published and credited in various notable productions and feature projects in the past 10 years. She is currently based in Northern California and frequently exhibits at City Art Gallery in San Francisco. She is available for commissioned work and collaborative projects.
